How a film is built
Production
Each film is built from one directed interview sitting, produced footage, written narration and an original score, assembled in an editing suite. Portions of the imagery and the narration voice are produced with artificial intelligence tools, and where that is the case the film carries an on-screen disclosure.
What the pictures are
Imagery on this site
The photographs on this site, including the key art on a plate page, are produced with the same artificial intelligence tools rather than photographed on location. They represent the subject and the setting of a film. They are not documentary stills from it.
The standard
Fact checking
Every factual claim is checked against a source before it is spoken. Where a figure comes from the company rather than from an independent record, the narration attributes it to the company in those words. Where a claim cannot be verified it is not used, whatever it would have added.
Interests
Related parties
Where the producer has a commercial relationship with a subject, that relationship is disclosed on the film's plate page and to the publishing partner.
The arrangement
Publication
The arrangement is described plainly, in writing, every time. Films are published on Forbes.com under licence, secured under contract. Onward syndication to further outlets is planned and is described as planned until it is contracted.

Corrections
If something in a film or on this site is wrong, write to hello@52icons.com with the detail. Corrections are made on the plate page and, where the error is material, on the film itself.
